Rang

Boomerang · Seed 16

112 HP170 speed

Comes back around ability

Throws a boomerang where it aims, up to two in the air. Each one curves in, hits for 9 on the way out and again on the way back, and has to be caught.

How a fight works

Every fight plays out in the simulation, the same way on your phone as on a laptop.

  1. 0:00

    3, 2, 1

Both balls launch in a random direction. Before you start, you can pull one back and let go to aim it like a slingshot.

The countdown: Who wins? over the arena with 1 on the clock
  2. Every hit

    Weapons connect or they miss

Blades have to swing through you to cut. Shots fly straight and can miss. A thrown hook can whiff and reel back empty.

Anchor's hook on its chain reaching for Ricochet
  3. Meter full

    Ultimates fire on their own

Each fighter fills a meter from time, damage dealt and damage taken. When it fills, the ultimate goes off.

Leech firing Siphon, its ultimate, with the banner across the arena
  4. 0:25

    The walls close in

At 25 seconds the arena starts to shrink. Anyone still standing at 45 seconds takes a draw.

Hive and Titan fighting as the arena walls close in
  5. K.O.

    Same seed, same fight

The simulation decides every result, with no scripted winners. Two fighters and a seed replay the same fight every time.

Record view mid-fight: Leech and Rang with both ultimates active, their meters under the arena and the matchup code at the bottom

Made for clips

Record view turns the game into a clean vertical screen for your phone's recorder.

The controls hide once the fight starts. The matchup code sits under the arena, so anyone who watches your clip can type it in and replay the exact fight.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. The browser version is free, with no ads and no account.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, in a recent Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge. The first load is about 45 MB, then your browser keeps it for next time.

Are the fights scripted?

No. A simulation decides every fight, 120 steps a second. The same two fighters and seed always play out the same way, at any playback speed.

Can I post my fights?

Yes. Record view gives you a clean vertical screen for your phone's recorder, and the matchup code under the arena lets viewers replay your fight.

When do the phone apps come out?

There's no date yet. The store buttons on this page will turn into download links on launch day.

What happens to my data?

It stays in your browser. Your settings, last matchup and bracket live on your device, and nothing gets sent anywhere. The privacy page has the details.
